Description
Yeshé Walmo (Magical Wisdom Goddess) is semi-wrathful in appearance and dark blue in color, like a deep, clear midnight sky. Yeshé Walmo is a manifestation of Sherap Chamma. She has two main forms. Depicted here is her form as a protector, her most common form. In her other, less wrathful, healing form, she holds a vase of healing nectar in her hand and does not stand atop a corpse. Yeshé Walmo is a yidam and one of the most important protectors of the Bön tradition.
