This prayer contains the praise of the mantra of Sherap Jamma, also known as Kunsal Jamma Chenmo. This praise of the Enlightened Jamma was spoken by the Buddha and founder of Yungdrung Bon, Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche. These twenty-one mantric syllables are the seed syllables for Jamma’s Five Wisdom manifestations, who embody the perfected qualities of the five wisdoms. It is the seed syllables for Jamma’s manifestation as the Eight Protectors who protect from the fear of enemies, slander, infertility, nagas who cause them harm, attacks from extremists, mistakes or defilements, ultimitely death, and harm from the powerful eight classes of beings. It is the seed syllables for her 16, 32, 50, and countless manifestations that have the ability to protect, and to offer whatever support is needed. The benefit of this is immeasurable.
