These prayer flags can be raised at the time of someone’s passing or on the anniversary of their passing.
These prayer flags contain The Sutra that Destroys the Doors to Lower Rebirths. It is commonly recited within the Tibetan community especially by laypeople and especially when there has been any kind of violence involved in death.
These prayer flags have been made by Khedup Gyatso who commisioned the carving of the woodblocks many years ago in order to make these specific prayer flags after the passing of his own wife, Tashi Tsomo.”
